  According to a note left by Clara Pfarrer: In 1873 They moved near Counsil Bluffs, Iowa from Davenport, Iowa In 1874 they moved to Pottawattamie County, Iowa, Near Shelby, Iowa. Then on November 6th 1891 they moved by train to Iona, Minnesota. In 1912 they moved by Wagon, to Worthington, Nobles county, Minnesota. I do have a record of Detlef Groth arriving on the Ship "Atlanta" at age 17 arriving 10-5-1857 from Hamburg, Germany, destination New York, Usa I have a hand written note stating that Detlef Groth arrived in America in 1859. I believe that this was written by Clara Pfarrer.
